Your RunMac Mac is for software development, testing, CI and development only. You must not use it to:

  1. Breach Apple's terms, including creating or farming Apple Accounts, automating or abusing iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud or other Apple services, or any use outside Apple's macOS licence.
  2. Time-share or resell the Mac. You may not sublet it, sell slices of it, or let others who aren't covered by your agreement use it.
  3. Run non-development production or consumer workloads, for example public-facing production web or app servers, game servers, media streaming, or using it as a personal desktop.
  4. Mine cryptocurrency or run comparable sustained workloads whose main purpose is to consume compute for value rather than to develop or test software.
  5. Send spam or bulk unsolicited messaging, or operate mailing or messaging abuse of any kind.
  6. Do anything illegal under the laws that apply to you or to us, or store or distribute unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes others' rights.
  7. Attack or probe others: no hacking, port-scanning, denial of service, botnet or command-and-control activity, or using the Mac to attack third parties.
  8. Undermine the fleet: no attempting to bypass network isolation, reach other customers' Macs or our systems, remove or tamper with device management (MDM), or defeat the monitoring agent or security controls.
  9. Breach sanctions or export-control laws, or use the Mac from or on behalf of a sanctioned country, person or entity (Terms, section 5).
  10. Abuse resources in a way that damages hardware or degrades the service for others.

Consequences

We may warn, suspend, end your lease, wipe the Mac, and/or terminate your account for any breach. Serious or abusive breaches (items 1, 6, 7, 8 and 9) may result in immediate termination without refund and, where required, a report to the relevant authority or to Apple.

Report abuse or security issues to contact@runmac.dev.
