Install Homebrew and common tools

Install Homebrew on Apple silicon and the usual developer tools.

Homebrew is the usual way to install command-line tools on a Mac.

/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"

It asks for your macOS password (for sudo). When it finishes, run the Next steps it prints: on Apple silicon they add this line to your shell profile so brew is on your PATH:

eval "$(/opt/homebrew/bin/brew shellenv)"

Then, for example:

brew install git node python tmux cocoapods fastlane
